Meet Pio the Chick

Pio is a beige chick in a yellow bow tie, with a small
orange-trimmed crest and a caramel heart for a beak.

His face is entirely embroidered: round dark eyes, wide awake,
and soft blush cheeks. No plastic eyes, no buttons, no beads,
nothing that can work loose. His blanket is cream: raised
dimple-dot minky on the front for little fingers to find,
smooth minky on the back for a cheek to rest against.

Pio and Lulu are the same chick — one awake, one asleep.

Cut, sewn, and finished one at a time in our Colorado studio.

Care
Machine wash cold on the delicate cycle, in a mesh laundry bag.
Air dry only. No bleach, no fabric softener, no dryer — they
flatten minky permanently.

Safe sleep
Keep the crib bare for babies under 12 months, following AAP
guidance. Loveys are for supervised comfort and play.
